Phase 2 Update

We are a week into the golf season and the course is buzzing. A full tee sheet and multiple areas under construction have made the days busy and exciting. Our contractor has been making great progress wrapping up several areas and moving on to the last few sites. We last left off with the fairway bunker on 9 starting to be sodded. Since then, that bunker and the fairway bunkers on 1 have been completed.

The crew moved onto 9 greenside where the bunker removed right of the green has been filled in and sodded. The shaping of the new traps to the left has been completed and sodding is well underway there.

The removal of the fairway bunkers on 17 was a tall task, made more difficult for the crew as they braved the downpours on Wednesday to fully sod the large fairway bunker. Once they bring in more topsoil they will finish up the smaller bunkers.

That leaves the greenside bunkers on 18 and the tee on 3 to complete. After talking to their head foreman they expect to have things all sodded by the middle of next week. Once that is done we will be assessing and repairing the damage done getting to and from the worksites. We expect a good amount of square footage to be fixed up. They have put down 50 pallets of sod to this point!
